The Cleveland Cavaliers are in quite the dire straits at the moment.

After dropping Game 1 to the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Cavs dropped a souped-up injury report that included not just Darius Garland but also Evan Mobley and De’Andre Hunter.

All three were ruled out for Game 2, and Mobley’s absence is especially critical.

The power forward grew into one of the NBA’s best players this season as a dominant playmaker and defender.

Now, the Cavs will anxiously await his return.

How long is Evan Mobley out?

All we know for sure is that Mobley is missing Game 2 against the Pacers.

Mobley is “crushed” to be missing Game 2, according to Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor.

#Cavs Evan Mobley was still walking with a noticeable limp in the locker room pregame and when he spoke to me briefly, there was a somber tone in his voice. He is crushed that he can't play tonight.

Cavs depth chart behind Evan Mobley

Cleveland will have to rely much more on Dean Wade than might be ideal.

The Cavs could also go small with Max Strus and Isaac Okoro at the two forward positions alongside center Jarrett Allen.

The Cavs backup center is veteran Tristan Thompson, who could get pressed into duty if Allen gets into foul trouble.
