Since the second phase of version 3.3 starts on June 11, 2025, the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.4 update will likely commence 21 days after, on July 2, 2025. As this falls on a Wednesday, when HoYoverse usually drops every single banner and patch, players can expect the update to go live on that date.
However, since the developers have yet to comment on this matter, players will have to wait until the special program livestream for the patch to commence. When the update does commence, players are expected to get Phainon, Sunday, Tribbie, and Sparkle’s limited-time banners. Since the Fate collaboration is expected to begin on July 11, 2025, around a week after the patch commences, players will get access to Saber and Archer’s event banners.
Players will also receive the customary 600x Stellar Jades for the maintenance inconveniences. Moreover, if the developers extend the maintenance, which rarely happens, the amount of Jade players will receive in the in-game mail will increase accordingly.
Additionally, the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.4 patch is expected to be quite different from other updates, as it will likely feature 11 character banners. This means players will be able to choose from a wide variety of characters to pull. However, since the collab banners have different pity, players will need to spend an extensive number of Jades just to acquire the Fate characters.
