Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made a joke after learning about his sack total this season. While addressing the media on Thursday, the quarterback got to learn that he was sacked the same amount of time in seven games this year as he was the entire 2024 season.
Jackson responded to the statistic with a joke that he would confront his offensive line about this situation.
"Goddman," Jackson said. "I've got to talk to the offensive line about that now. I'mma holla at my guys about that man. ... Talk to my guys about that. They probably ain't going to like that though. Like you guys telling me its 23 sacks, they probably ain't going to like that."•

"Homie is never winning a ring," one fan commented@SportsCenter Homie is never winning a ring.
@SportsCenter I mean let's be real. The Ravens have never actually prioritized putting an 'elite' OL in front of him. Their strategy has been that it just needs to be decent 'Since we have Lamar' and it's catching up to them. Now he's playing hurt and his running can't bail them out.
@SportsCenter Gotta keep his jersey clean!
@SportsCenter Lamar's 'jokes' sound a lot like a masked man about to have a very pointed chat with the guys who let him get sacked 23 times already. The balaclava isn't just for warmth, apparently.
@SportsCenter he really is out here like he's in a comedy show or something but like whoa chill with the sacks for real
@SportsCenter I mean it is a convo he gotta have tbh
