A homeless pervert with a rap sheet was busted for a sexually motivated burglary after trying to break into a woman’s New York City home Saturday morning, police and sources said.
Ulysses Lucero, 27, was arrested after someone called 911 to report a burglary in progress near Avenue B and East 7th Street in Alphabet City around 4 a.m., police said.
A 56-year-old woman lives in the residence, according to police.
Lucero was charged with sexually motivated burglary, cops said.
The charge is levied when a person commits a burglary for sexual gratification.
It wasn’t clear if Lucero did anything to the woman during the incident, police said.
Lucero has over 20 prior arrests on his record, including burglary, grand larceny, forcible touching, assault and petty larceny, police sources said.
Lucero’s arraignment was pending as of Saturday evening.
