His wife cheated on him with his brother, and they cleaned him out. I mean, they cleaned the poor guy out, left him on the streets, and plunged him into depression that led him to alcoholism. While Rodriguez did recover from it over two years ago, Del Rio spoke highly of his friend and former ring announcer, stating that he had returned to the industry and opened his own wrestling school.
