The Baltimore Ravens faced off against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 5, and with Mike Tomlin as part of NBC's broadcast team, he had a moment that went viral.

During his segments for SNF, Tomlin refused to say Derrick Henry's name. He referred to Henry as "The Big Runner," much to the confusion of likely many fans at home. But Maria Taylor revealed why Tomlin doesn't say Henry's name.

As the Sunday Night Football on NBC Twitter/x account shared, Tomlin doesn't say Henry's name due to the fear he's instilled in Tomlin and his immense respect for the Ravens' running back.

Mike Tomlin reveals why he won't say Derrick Henry's name

"I just want to remind you guys, 'The Big Runner' is Derrick Henry. He (Tomlin) still will not say his name because he sends a shiver down his spine," Taylor said.

Mike Tomlin is committed to never saying Derrick Henry’s name. 😂

Tomlin further clarified by saying, "I cannot say it," when it comes to Derrick Henry's name. He then added after the fact on Twitter/x with a simple message for Henry: "So much respect for The Big Runner."

Tomlin, a defensive coach, knows well how challenging it is to stop Henry.

Ironically enough, however, Tomlin's Pittsburgh Steelers seemed to have a lot of success against Henry. His teams have gone 6-1 against Henry in his NFL career, though his on-field production against the Steelers has been impressive.

In his NFL career against the Steelers, Henry has 629 yards and three touchdowns on126 rushing attempts, good for 89.9 yards per game. There are only 10 other teams in the NFL that Henry has more yards per game against than the Steelers.

When it comes to total yards, only five teams have had Henry rush for more yards against them than the Steelers, with only the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills among non-AFC South teams to allow more yards to Henry than the Steelers have.

Tomlin's teams might have a 6-1 record against Henry in his career, but Henry's production against the Steelers is very strong, and is plenty of reason for Tomlin to be a bit scared of Henry.

"The Big Runner" is someone Tomlin is likely glad he doesn't have to face again, as he has immense respect for Henry, who sends a shiver down Tomlin's spine.
