The third week of NFL preseason is in full swing, with tonight’s slate ending on an all-Los Angeles matchup.
The Los Angeles Rams and Chargers will face off tonight, Aug. 27, in their respective preseason finales.
Rams head coach Sean McVay typically does not play starters during the preseason and so far, that’s remained true. Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Trent McDuffie, Myles Garrett and the rest of the Rams’ starters will be on the bench again tonight. Rookie QB Ty Simpson will start tonight amidst the battle for the backup spot on the Rams’ roster.
