Roughly a week into December, Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend, GloRilla, released “Special,” a track that has quickly gone viral. The artist added hype to the song by dancing to the tune in front of the Toronto Raptors star, who almost nonchalantly watched her perform. GloRilla’s video continues to reverberate as more reactions are coming in.

On Wednesday, “Hoops Crave,” a self-described parody account, dragged rapper Sexyy Red into the trolling. The account said on X that she wanted a “poly relationship” with Ingram and the “Tomorrow 2 (featuring Cardi B)” hitmaker.

Sexyy Red blasted the tweet a day later:

In GloRilla’s Instagram post, the St. Louis, Missouri, rapper supposedly wrote:

“B**ch let’s be sister wives.”

The message clearly had to be edited, as there is no such reaction in GloRilla’s post. Sexyy Red’s response to the trolling quickly gained traction, giving her 2.1 million views in about five hours. Most fans ripped the fake news, many asking X to suspend the account.

Some fans have been trying to pit Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend and the “SkeeYee” singer. The trolling from “Hoops Crave,” though, went out of bounds for many of them.

GloRilla has not reacted to Sexyy Red’s pushback about the made-up news.

Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend, GloRilla, has a track with Sexyy Red

In 2024, Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend, GloRilla, dropped her uber-popular album “Glorious.” The third song, titled “Whatchu Kno About Me,” intrigued many as it featured Sexyy Red.

Considering the rumored animosity and rivalry between the two, the rappers gave their fans a surprise and a treat. The single, a nod to Southern rap in Memphis (GloRilla) and St. Louis (Sexyy Red), celebrated success from humble beginnings. The collab got a big boost following a cameo from Boosie Badazz.

Brandon Ingram and GloRilla weren’t an item when the track came out. Still, Sexyy Red ripped the fake news that she wanted to be part of the relationship between the two.
