ENHYPEN announce January 2026 comeback with seventh mini-album The Sin: Vanish, launch new vampire-era storyline

ENHYPEN are preparing for their next comeback in early 2026 with the release of their seventh mini-album, The Sin: Vanish, scheduled for January 16. The announcement comes shortly after the group won the Visa Fan’s Choice of the Year award at the 2025 MAMA Awards held in Hong Kong.

On December 19, ENHYPEN unveils a teaser trailer for the upcoming album, offering fans an early look into its dark and eerie concept. The 50-second video features members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki fleeing from an unseen threat, intercut with contrasting scenes of the group sharing meals and laughter. Looming over these moments is a visual of a bat-filled sky, reinforced by the teaser’s caption, "Vampire is coming".

According to official details, The Sin: Vanish will be ENHYPEN’s most explicit dive yet into vampire mythology, a theme that has been central to their ongoing narrative universe. The album follows their June 2025 release, DESIRE: UNLEASH, and is described as a concept album built around a forbidden love story.

Set in a world where humans and vampires coexist, the storyline of the album focuses on two lovers who commit an absolute taboo. They are forced into exile to protect their bond, with themes of desire, sacrifice, and forbidden choices at its core.

The concept of the album is structured as a fictional investigative broadcast, revisiting an unresolved case within vampire society from a third-party perspective. To deepen immersion, the project incorporates narration and skits alongside the music, creating the feeling of tuning into an actual investigative program.

Belift Lab has described The Sin: Vanish as the beginning of a new chapter in ENHYPEN’s dark fantasy arc and the launch of a new series titled The Sin. It signals a fresh narrative phase within the group’s fictional universe.

To build anticipation, ENHYPEN also launched a fictional digital news platform called Vampire Now, featuring articles centered on vampire life and culture. An accompanying Instagram account drew over 47,000 followers within a single day, highlighting strong fan engagement.

The album’s physical editions will further expand the concept, including themed flyers, stickers, and ad cards tied to the same universe. With its immersive storytelling approach and darker tone, The Sin: Vanish is set to usher ENHYPEN into a more intense and narrative-driven era. It has heighten excitement among fans worldwide ahead of its January release.
