This decisive action allegedly comes after an intense wave of unfounded relationship rumors and resultant digital abuse. On November 6, the artist turned off all user remarks, discontinuing a prior avenue for fan interaction.
His roster of followed accounts is now hidden from the public eye. Users are also now unable to tag his handle in their posts. Meanwhile, they also can’t see which TikTok videos he has liked. These severe limits were imposed following numerous lengthy Weverse live sessions in late October.
A viral TikTok clip highlighted a moment during a recent livestream where he blushed and appeared to be sending a 4 am text. The post claimed he was chatting with his “blonde girlfriend.” Numerous supporters welcomed the restrictions, recognizing them as an essential defense against shipping content.
"At this point TikTok should be banned jungkook is such a sweetheart caring and loving man yet they are just obsessed with his private life he spends so much time with us only for you spread baseless rumours and misinformation about him he doesn’t deserve this," an X user commented.Alongside the clip, long-running rumors linking him to aespa's Winter have also been gaining momentum. These latter claims intensified post-military service discharge in June 2025, fueled by perceived identical items, such as a phone case featuring red devil horns.
The situation led to negative comments directed at both Winter and Jungkook, with some extending to his family members. Critical messages were even redirected to the Instagram account of his pet dog, Bam.
