Sync Strikes are a brand-new mechanic in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment that can deal significant damage to enemies. With this system, you can team up your favorite heroes to unleash devastating special moves in tandem. However, Sync Strikes are not something you can keep spamming during the fights. You must first fill your Sync Gauges in the game before you use them.
This article explains what Sync Strikes are in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and how to perform them.
What are Sync Strikes in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment?
Sync Strikes are unique attacks performed by two characters when their Sync Gauges are full. These strikes are far more powerful than regular attacks, capable of wiping out mobs or taking massive chunks from boss health bars in a single hit. Diverse character pairings in the game can produce different Sync Strikes with unique effects.
How to fill the Sync Gauge
As mentioned above, a full Sync Gauge for both characters is a must to unleash Sync Strikes. Here's how you can easily fill your gauge:
- Fight near allies: The Sync Gauge fills more quickly when you’re battling close to your chosen ally.
- Interrupt and switch attacks: Performing interrupt moves or switch attacks accelerates gauge filling.
