"Having a child is not one person job": Puka Nacua’s ex Hallie Aiono gets vulnerable about being single mom while dealing with postpartum health scare

Hallie Aiono, the ex-girlfriend of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, shared an honest update about life as a new mom. On Sunday, she posted a short video of her son Kingston sitting with her sister, Taylor Temaari Aiono.

In the clip, Kingston babbled while Taylor copied his sounds.

Along with the video, Aiono wrote about how hard the past few days have been.

“My sister has been mine and Kings angel these past few days, as I have been so sick in bed with mastitis," she wrote. "Having a child is not a one-person job and I’ve had to learn that the hard way, but luckily I have had both of my sisters by our side, willing to help at any given moment."

Aiono added:

"I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without @taryntaetum here to help take care of Kingston while I have been so sick and no one else was willing to. We love you forever, our Tay Tay.❤️ Hearing their conversations and his giggles these past few days has been so healing.🥹”

According to the Mayo Clinic, mastitis is painful inflammation of the breast, sometimes involving a bacterial infection. It is most common in breastfeeding women.

Hallie Aiono's admission about Mastitis came just a few days after she hinted that she is seeing someone new.

On Thursday, Aiono shared an Instagram story of herself wearing a gray hoodie and holding Kingston, who was dressed in green, in front of a Christmas tree with wrapped gifts underneath.

She added a joking caption about her sense of humor, writing:

“Just told to my BF that it would be so fun to go around LA with a rake and unclog the drains on the streets. Pls tell me if you get me.”

Aiono’s message also comes as her past relationship with Puka Nacua continues to draw attention.

Earlier this month, the Rams receiver faced backlash after making blunt comments about marriage during a livestream with Adin Ross and N3on.

When asked about marriage on the Dec. 17 stream, Nacua said, “Don’t get married. They all cheat.” When asked if he planned to marry someday, he replied, “Probably not, no.”

Nacua and Aiono welcomed their son, Kingston, on Oct. 30.

Aiono shared the news the next day, posting photos of herself, Nacua and their newborn.

In the caption, she wrote:

“Kingston, I prayed for this day, the day I finally got to meet you… Already, you’ve taught me more about love, strength, and grace than I ever knew possible.”

Puka Nacua was present at Kingston’s birth, confirming he is the baby’s father after months of speculation and a paternity case filed earlier in June.

Hallie Aiono is loving motherhood. On Christmas Eve on Wednesday, she marked her son Kingston's second month.

Aiono posted pictures on Instagram where she cradled the baby lovingly.

"Two months with you🩵," read the caption.
