Russell Henley isn't quite a superstar on the links, especially in comparison to headline names like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau.
Still, the Macon, Geor. native has enjoyed a sterling career in golf's top-flight, emerging as one of the United States' better golf talents in recent years. In 2025, Henley made his Ryder Cup debut, bumping shoulders with some of the sport's biggest talents in the process. It seems another career resurgence is on the horizon for the Georgia alum, who emerged as one of the sport's brightest prospects more than a decade ago.
So, has Henley's potential translated into major tournament wins? He is undoubtedly a gifted golfer, blessed with a booming drive and sumptuous touch on the putting green. Has that been enough for him to capture golf's grandest prizes?

Has Russell Henley won a major?
Henley has yet to claim a major title. He does have two top-five and five top-10 finishes in his career. At the 2023 Masters, Henley posted his best-career major showing, finishing tied for fourth after recording a seven-under-par 281.

Has Russell Henley won on a PGA Tour event?
Henley made his PGA Tour debut in 2013 at the tender age of 23. He wasted little time making his presence felt on the Tour circuit, posting record-setting marks at the Sony Open in Hawai'i en route to a three-stroke win in his first Tour event.
Henley's 24-under-par 256 broke the Sony Open scoring record by four strokes. It also proved the second-best 72-hole tournament score in PGA Tour history, only bested by Tommy Armour III's showing at the 2003 Valero Texas Open.
Henley has added another four PGA Tour wins in the years since his debut. His most recent victory on the Tour came at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational when he held off all comers, including Collin Morikawa, to hoist the trophy at Bay Hill, Fla.

Russell Henley Masters history
Excluding his 2023 flourish, Henley hasn't found much success at Augusta National. He has made it into the weekend on all but two of his tournament appearances, however.
