From Green Day and Bad Bunny to Brandi Carlile and Charlie Puth, a number of prominent names were booked to have a hand in the on-field entertainment portion of the big game.
For Green Day, Super Bowl 60 was a homecoming decades after they formed not far from Santa Clara.

Green Day performed before Super Bowl 60 as part of NBC's Opening Ceremony for the game. The performance took place on the field at Levi's Stadium before the singing of "American the Beautiful" and the national anthem.

Green Day's performance began with the introduction of a number of former Super Bowl MVPs, including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana and Jalen Hurts. The band performed an instrumental version of "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) before bringing in vocals once the former players were introduced.
