"Had to fact check him": Bo Nix's wife Izzy roasts Broncos QB's vocabulary after securing playoff spot

Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy, shared a hilarious message about her husband’s vocabulary on social media. On Sunday, the Denver Broncos played against the Green Bay Packers and won their 12th game of the season, securing their playoff spot. Nix had a phenomenal time and recorded 302 yards in passing.

Following the game, he was asked about being an underdog at home and then having a phenomenal outing. In response, he said:

“We’re the overdogs.”

The NFL shared a short video of the quarterback on its Instagram account, which Izzy reshared on her social media handle. In another Instagram story, she shared a screenshot of her Google search. She searched, “Is overdog a word?” and shared the snap with a hilarious caption.

“My Google search last night… had to fact-check him,” Izzy wrote.

Bo Nix had a strong showing on Sunday against the Packers. He went 23-for-34 and recorded four touchdowns to help his team win the game, 34-26. Team head coach Sean Payton praised the quarterback for his standout performance.

"That’s a really impressive rush front, and to come out of that game with no sacks, I thought we did a good job," Payton said. "We had a good protection plan. He really made some plays with his feet, and he made some plays up in the pocket. "Third-and-long to Troy on a touch. I mean, there are so many different plays to reference, Courtland, all of them. Then, as guys playing this offense, if he moves left or if he moves right, they adjust and become an open target for him. All three phases, it was a good win," he added.

With two more games to go, the Denver Broncos are leading the AFC West standings. They have only lost two matchups this season.

Bo Nix and his wife, Izzy, expect their first child

Bo Nix is going to be a father. The Denver Broncos quarterback is expecting his first child with his wife, Izzy. The couple shared the good news via Instagram. On Oct. 10, they shared a joint post, and in the caption, Izzy shared her excitement for their baby.

"Nix party of 3!!! “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬," she wrote.

Bo Nix and Izzy shared pictures of them holding hands and walking in a field. They donned matching white outfits. The NFL star had an ultrasound image in his hand.

The couple has been together since their college days. They both met at Auburn University and got married in 2022.
