The hype was further fueled when Rockstar Games updated their main page, showing their next game and buttons for the second trailer and a dedicated game website.
Because of the page update, one particular post on X went viral, claiming that the website already has a hidden pre-order option embedded by the developers. Here are more details about this allegedly revealed GTA 6 pre-order option and how it might be fake.
How GTA 6 pre-order option's alleged reveal might be fake
On October 30, 2025, a GTA fan account named @GTASixJoker made a breaking post on X about Rockstar Games' main website page has a GTA 6 pre-orders option hidden in the HTML code. Along with the post, there was a picture that looked awfully similar to the actual front page with "pre-order now" written in big white letters and a pastel pink pre-order button. The picture also showcased a button to watch the third trailer as well.
Since the hype for the third trailer and pre-orders is so high, this post went viral and accrued nearly 2,000 likes. However, the comments section was filled with people stating that it was fake news and ragebait.
HTML code for Rockstar Games' official website does not show any pre-order information (Image via View Page Source)When the HTML code for Rockstar Games' main website page is accessed, there is no mention of pre-orders or the third trailer. Furthermore, the official page showcases an entirely different artwork of Jason and Lucia than what is shown in the post.
Because of all these reasons, this post and the picture showing the pre-order option are most likely fake.

Origin of GTA 6 trailer 3 and pre-orders rumors
Jason's watch is showing 11:08 time, which could mean November 8, 2025 (Image via Rockstar Games)It is clear that the hype for GTA 6's third trailer and pre-orders is at its peak. Thousands of enthusiasts are collectively speculating that Rockstar Games could drop something major in November. To know the origin of this speculation, we need to look at the second trailer.
In the second trailer of the game, Jason is seen fighting at a store and then taking cash from a register. During this scene, people looked closely at his watch, which read 11:08 backward since it is shown from the opposite angle.
These numbers stuck in people's minds, and many started connecting them to days and months. The number 11 was connected to November, and the 8th was considered the date. Hence, the fanbase is speculating that Rockstar Games could drop something on November 8, 2025.
As of now, the game developers have remained completely silent after releasing the second trailer in May.
