Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, Calif. is nearly here. Before kickoff between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, fans will get to see a pre-game concert from the band Green Day.

Headlined by Billie Joe Armstrong, the band has been openly critical of President Donald J. Trump in the past. Performing during a Friday night concert in the San Francisco area before the band's Super Bowl show, Armstrong already had some words for Trump, ICE and some other members of the Trump administration.

Here's everything you need to know about what Green Day said about the administration.

What did Green Day say about ICE?

According to Front Office Sports, on Friday evening, Green Day performed at an invite-only Super Bowl week party at Pier 29, which is a popular artist venue in San Francisco. The event was organized by Spotify and FanDuel. He had a message for ICE agents mid-performance:

“This goes out to all the ICE agents out there," Armstrong said. Wherever you are: quit your shitty-ass job. Quit that shitty job you have.” He added "come on this side of the line" after calling out Trump himself.

Armstrong went on to call out Trump, vice president J.D. Vance, DHS secretary Kirsti Noem and deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security advisor Stephen Miller.

"Because when this is over — and it will be over at some point in time — Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, J.D. Vance, Donald Trump, they’re going to drop you like a bad f–ing habit."

Green Day has been openly critical of Trump a number of times before. The band changed the lyrics to its song "American Idiot," changing it to, "I’m not a part of a redneck agenda" to "I’m not a part of a MAGA agenda." The band has also released music videos referencing Trump, and Armstrong even claimed to have renounced his citizenship when Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022.
