One of the key re-signing the New York Giants made this offseason was Jermaine Eluemunor.
The veteran started at right tackle for the Giants last season and played well, giving up four sacks and 19 pressures while posting Pro Football Focus grades of 76.7 in pass protection and 55.1 in run-blocking.
As a result, Eluemunor was one of the highest priorities for the Giants in 2026 and New York ultimately got a new deal done to shore up the right tackle spot.
After re-signing with the Giants, Eluemunor made it quite clear he never wanted to go anywhere else.
"I wanted to be back here. I didn't really want to go anywhere else," Eluemunor said.
As it turns out, that wasn't just lip service.
According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Eluemunor turned down more money from a different team in order to stay with the Giants.
"Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor really wanted to remain in New York. In fact, a source told ESPN he turned more money down elsewhere," Raanan reported.
Eluemunor still did very well for himself despite turning down more money after inking a three-year, $39 million deal with Big Blue.
