Ghoulish gal slices sister with meat clever, makes eerie ‘death sentence’ claim: cops

A Brooklyn woman attacked her sister with a meat cleaver in what she called a “death sentence” — slicing off several fingers and leaving her in a pool of blood, officials said.

Amy You, 35, allegedly slashed her 36-year-old sister on the arms, legs, stomach and appeared to have chopped off some of her fingers during a 10:45 a.m. Friday rampage inside their home on 49th Street near Seventh Avenue in Sunset Park, according to cops and a criminal complaint. 

The siblings’ father came home to find the gruesome scene, with the blood-drenched attacker still clutching the weapon and the victim bleeding out on the floor, the court doc said.

You even tried to stop her dad from calling 911 by grabbing the phone out of his hands, prosecutors said. 

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she survived, but her exact condition was unclear Tuesday.

You told investigators she had hoped to give her sister a “death sentence,” the complaint said. 

Police were still probing a motive int he unsettling attack.

You was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief, police said. 

She was ordered held on $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond during her Saturday arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
