George Russell's hilarious verdict (via team radio) on the drama of the Lewis Hamilton - Max Verstappen incident from the Mexican GP has recently surfaced. In line with this, the Brit has even brought up his 'first-ever go-kart race'.

The 2025 Mexican GP saw several drivers competing hard to gain positions. One such pair was that of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

While battling on lap 6 for third place, both drivers went off track at different points, which opened up opportunities for others. Firstly, Verstappen went off at Turn 2, and then Hamilton (10-second time penalty) took the escape route at the following Turn.

Amid this chaos, Haas' Oliver Bearman got past Verstappen and George Russell (who was running behind Hamilton and Verstappen); on his end, he dropped down to P7.

Seeing the whole ordeal play out, Russell deemed the antics of young racers Oliver Bearman and Andrea Kimi Antonelli as a 'f**king joke' and added (via team radio - untelevised):

"These kids are a f**king joke. Reminds me of my first-ever go-kart race." (Via Planet F1).

At a later point, Russell was heard over the radio having an intense back-and-forth with his race engineer while McLaren's Oscar Piastri was behind him:

"Marcus, I’ve got a f***ing car up my a**e, OK? A car much quicker than ours. I’m trying to hold position. I’ve got much more pace than Kimi here and we can fight for a podium."

After all the ups and downs of the 71-lap Mexican Grand Prix, George Russell was able to come away with a P7 finish.

"A very bad day": George Russell on the disappointment of Mexican GP

While George Russell's untelevised message during the Mexican GP has surfaced, after the end of the race, he cut out as an extremely frustrated figure.

In line with this, the Mercedes driver cast light on quite a few things during a post-race interview with F1, and added:

"I struggle to understand how three drivers can just cut the first corner and continue. It punishes the drivers who have driven correctly, and if you can risk everything with no downside, that is what drivers are going to do. It has always been the case here in Mexico – people cutting Turn 1. So I was frustrated." "Then I got unlucky with Max and Lewis when they came together. Max went off the track, came back on, I was on the outside and lost two positions. So in the end, just a very bad day."

With only four races remaining on the 2025 race calendar, George Russell is currently in fourth place in the drivers' standings with 258 points. In the process of doing so, he has also amassed two Grand Prix wins and eight podiums.
