The wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is already shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year. With reports indicating the couple will welcome more than 1,000 guests when they tie the knot next month, fans have been eager to learn every possible detail about the highly anticipated ceremony.

Of course, that doesn't mean he's planning to show up empty-handed. Kittle admitted he already has an idea for something Kelce might appreciate despite the couple's request.

"I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin," Kittle said.

George Kittle already has an idea for Kelce's gift

Kittle's comments quickly caught attention online because they offer a rare glimpse into the wedding plans of one of sports and entertainment's most talked-about couples. While celebrity weddings often become known for extravagant gift lists and luxury registries, Kelce and Swift appear to be taking a different approach.

The pair reportedly became engaged in 2025 after beginning their relationship in 2023. Since then, nearly every update involving the couple has generated massive interest across both sports and entertainment circles. Kittle, meanwhile, has become one of Kelce's closest friends through Tight End University, the annual offseason gathering founded by Kelce, Kittle and former NFL star Greg Olsen.

The event brings together many of the NFL's top tight ends each summer for training, film study and community outreach.

Kittle's wedding advice was simple

Beyond discussing gifts, Kittle also offered some advice for the soon-to-be newlyweds. His recommendation had nothing to do with football, fame or celebrity status.

"Just have so much fun with all of your friends," Kittle said.

That's likely easier said than done when one of the world's biggest pop stars and one of the NFL's most recognizable players are involved. Still, if Kittle's comments are any indication, Kelce and Swift seem determined to keep at least one part of their wedding surprisingly simple.

Guests can leave the presents at home.
