The New York Jets didn't have the best season in 2025. Well, they only won three games, so it was pretty dismal. But, second-year head coach Aaron Glenn is back and ready to prove himself.
Glenn will need to prove himself, too. He didn't turn things around in that first year, so this second run is really crunch time. It's not like Glenn was handed a great roster, so it was expected that it would take time to turn this thing around.
In a feature out on Tuesday for Fox Sports, Ralph Vacchiano gives Glenn and the Jets a harsh reality check by ranking them No. 30 on the tally.

In the piece, Vacchiano says that he just can't convince himself that this team is going to be good this year. That's hard to hear.
"I started to convince myself the Jets would be better this year," he says. "But QB Geno Smith is trying hard to convince me I'm wrong."
He adds that "this offseason, he's reportedly had an angry encounter with police at a traffic stop, was investigated (and cleared) by police in a domestic dispute and was cited for speeding. It could be a long fall."
Of course, this is just one person's opinion. If Smith rebounds this season after difficult runs at other franchises, he could bring a lot of promise to the Jets. But, if Glenn has another 3-14 season, people are going to start to wonder if this team is really stacked for the present or the future.
