WWE's recent acquisition of AAA has led to some interesting moments since the promotion's announcement at WrestleMania. Multiple AAA stars have made their WWE TV debuts in recent months, and several members of the promotion's roster have won AAA gold, like Dirty Dominik Mysterio. Now, AAA has added a legendary name to its production staff, and Gail Kim has weighed in on the hire.
Since WrestleMania 41, several talents from World Wrestling Entertainment have made their way to Lucha Libre AAA to assist with creative, production, and commentary. John Bradshaw Layfield and Corey Graves both work the English commentary side of things alongside Konnan. Matt Bloom and Pete Dunne have found work as producers for the brand, while The Undertaker assists with the creative team.
This week, Chavo Guerrero confirmed with Bill Apter that he will be helping AAA going forward as part of his new WWE deal. Another legend in the wrestling world, TNA Hall of Famer and 7-time Knockouts World Champion Gail Kim, has weighed in on the hiring.

"Go [Chavo Guerrero]!! They’re lucky to have you," said KimKim herself worked as a producer in TNA for several years, becoming a vital part of the creative process through the pandemic era and some of the best years in the promotion's history before being let go earlier this year.
AAA under WWE so far
On April 19, World Wrestling Entertainment announced the acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA on the WrestleMania 41 Night 1 kick-off show. AAA and all of WWE's brands have worked hand in hand ever since. There have been two Worlds Collide events this year featuring AAA, NXT, RAW, and SmackDown talent. El Hijo del Vikingo, Mr. Iguana, La Parka, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., and more have taken advantage of the opportunity.
Vice versa, several Superstars have been vital components of AAA programming, like North American Champion Ethan Page, who has defended the gold on a few AAA events since June's World Collide, or at least defended against AAA talent on NXT TV. Page and Chelsea Green recently captured the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, and Los Garza even held the AAA World Tag Titles for a few months over the summer.
The biggest moment of the year came back at Worlds Collide in September, where Dirty Dominik defeated El Hijo del Vikingo to become the AAA Mega Champion. Now that Chavo Guerrero has made his return, we could see some on-screen angles between him and his "nephew" at some point.
