Alica Schmidt delighted her fans with the pictures from her Christmas trip with her family to South Tyrol, Italy. She offered glimpses of the fun-filled activities she enjoyed during the vacation.

After the end of the trip, Schmidt offered a sneak peek into her vacation by posting a carousel of pictures and videos. She shared moments, which included her posing in front of mountains and enjoying a plane ride..

The post also featured her in a black Christmas outfit. She also shared snaps of her training in the gym and the food she ate. The German athlete also tried the ice bath challenge. She wished her followers a merry Christmas with a short note in the caption. Here is the post:

Alica Schmidt weighed in on her 2025 track season

After competing in the German National Championships, Alica Schmidt penned a note reflecting on her 2025 season. In the National Championships, she ended up in third place in the 800m heats; however, she still couldn't qualify for the finals.

Following the heartbreak, she shared her pictures on the track and shared a note on Instagram. Expressing dismay over her performances, she said that the year tested her. She opened up about how her 2025 season went. Opening up about learning lessons, she wrote:

"This season really put me to the test this year. Tough races, lots of lessons, and a whole lot of growth. It wasn’t the season I was hoping for, but it was definitely the one I needed. Unfortunately I caught Covid a few days before Nationals, so I wasn’t able to show up at my best, definitely frustrating," said Alica Schmidt.

She added:

"This year is about committing, learning, challenging and accepting. Everything I need to learn on how to tackle the 800m. Hoping to get my body 100% healthy again and squeeze in a few more races before shifting focus to 2026. Still completely in love with the process. 🫶🔥"

During her break, Alica Schmidt also bought a new house and shared glimpses of it on her social media.
