The tennis season is long and gruelling, and more so for top stars such as Coco Gauff, Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka, and others, who make several deep runs. The off-season isn't even two months long, and players have to spend a decent amount of that time preparing for the upcoming season as well.
Even though the time to completely unwind is minimal, tennis players are making the most of it. Many of them took quick little vacations during the on-going off-season. Beaches featured prominently in most players' photo dumps, though a few chose to embrace the chilly air in the mountains.
Here's a quick rundown of all the major vacation hotspots of the 2025 off-season based on the players' recent getaways:
#1. Aryna Sabalenka, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and others relaxed on the crystal clear beaches of Maldives
Maldives emerged as the top pick amongst tennis players to de-stress during the off-season. Aryna Sabalenka was already thinking about her holiday in Maldives during the WTA Finals 2025. Following her runner-up finish, she stated she would ruminate over her loss with a drink in her hand once she lands there.

Anastasia Potapova's blossoming romance with ATP star Tallon Griekspoor continued with a holiday in Maldives.
Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner couldn't escape each other even during the off-season. They ended up being on the same flight while heading to Maldives. Daniil Medvedev brought his entire family to relax in the country, and shared some adorable photos of himself with his daughters.
"Family time," Medvedev on Instagram.With so many players flocking to Maldives one after the other, it eventually became a running joke within the tennis community as well. Many spoke about the same on various podcasts.
#2. Taylor Fritz and girlfriend Morgan Riddle have a blast traipsing around in Japan

Fritz and his group visited the usual tourist hotspots in the cities. He shared a photo of himself dressed in traditional Japanese robes, and also visited shrines for a spiritual recharge.
"Kyoto vibes," Fritz on Instagram.Yulia Putintseva was another player who chose to holiday in Japan. However, she didn't restrict herself to one country like Fritz. After thoroughly enjoying her stay in Japan, she headed to Paris, France, for her next sojourn.
#3. Jessica Pegula enjoys a relaxing vacation with her husband in the Bahamas
After yet another successful season, Jessica Pegula flew to the Bahamas with her husband, Taylor Gahagen. She engaged in a plethora of fun activities, from golfing to horseback riding.
"have not exercised in 2 weeks," Pegula wrote on Instagram.Pegula also spent a good chunk of her time relaxing by the beachside and exploring the place. Following her holiday, she returned to the US to compete in a couple of exhibition tournaments.
#4. Novak Djokovic enjoys a luxurious getaway in the Turks and Caicos Islands

He chose to relax at the lavish Amanyara resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands. He's also a brand ambassador for the Aman Resorts, and he was looking forward to experiencing their hospitality for quite some time.
"Chilling me softly," Djokovic captioned his holiday post on Instagram.The property in Turks and Caicos is spread over 18,000 acres, providing its guests with privacy to enjoy their stay. The uber-luxurious resort is also famed for its wellness retreat, something that is right up Djokovic's alley, who prefers a holistic approach to his well-being.
#5. Zizou Bergs heads to the Alps for a snowy vacation
Zizou Bergs opted to ditch the warmth of beaches for the chill of mountain air. He was zipping through the slopes of the Alps in Austria, enjoying himself in the snow-clad mountains.
Accompanying Bergs on the trip was his girlfriend, as well as his dog. He's a huge animal lover, so it isn't surprising that he wanted to enjoy some quality time with his furry friend.
#6. Coco Gauff enjoys the beaches of Florida with her boyfriend

Aside from their beach trip, the duo have spent most of Gauff's off-season together. From attending art events to music concerts, they're having a blast. However, it's not all fun and games for the tennis pro. She also headed to New Orleans to inaugurate the newly refurbished tennis courts, which were funded through the prize money from her US Open 2023 triumph.
#7. Naomi Osaka and Taylor Townsend have a reunion in the Caribbean
Naomi Osaka and Taylor Townsend took a trip together with their friends during the off-season, heading to the Caribbean for an island getaway. From jet-skiing to chilling on a yacht, the two were having the time of their lives.
"My friends >>>" Osaka on Instagram.They also shared a video of themselves participating in a viral TikTok trend, singing together to a mash-up of Nicki Minaj's 'Beez in the Trap' and 4 Non Blondes' 'What's Up?'. Osaka ended her 2025 season on a disappointing note due to an injury after a resurgence in the second half of the season. This vacation was exactly what she needed to put that in the rearview mirror.
