The cat distribution system never sleeps. It's always working. This time, a frightened orange kitten spawned in a narrow concrete corner for her future mom to find her and take her home.
The kitty really needed help. You can tell from the look in her eyes and the way she was pressing her little body against the wall. Poor kitty, she was so scared she needed to hide herself in a corner to feel safer. It is impossible to know how long she had been hiding there, but the woman who found her decided it was her responsibility to take her somewhere safe, bathe her, and feed her. The generous woman's hand reaches the kitten and she allows herself to be touched, and that moment of trust gives room to everything that happens next.
The woman picks her up and adopts her instead of returning her outside. It all begins with a warm bath. The kitten remains surprisingly calm; she seems to trust her rescuer. It doesn't take long until she is wrapped in a warm blanket, feeling relaxed, safe from the uncertainties and the dangers of the outside world.
The sweetest part of adopting an animal is when you notice they're no longer afraid, so they reveal their true personalities. After plenty of affectionate moments, regular meals, and warm places to sleep, this kitten gradually started to learn that her human was there to offer care. So the cat allowed herself to play and act like her true self, feeling comfortable enough to stretch out whenever she pleased and not to control every movement because of fear. By the end of the video, we see a happy cat who is completely at ease. The tension at the beginning is gone forever. The cat explores, plays with new toys, discovers she likes eating corn, and even wears a homemade outfit for a walk in the street.
We're so glad people like this woman exist and that this kitten was given the chance to grow up loved and free to become herself. Every animal in this world deserves the same chance.
