I’ve assembled plenty of furniture, and almost every time there’s a random loose screw left over. Now I can’t sit on my patio without worrying that my chair is going to collapse under me.
I’m simply not cut out for this. I wish all furniture came fully assembled, but that gets pricey fast. Of course, hiring someone doesn’t always guarantee a better result, either.
These funny furniture fails include botched assembly jobs, broken cabinets, bad repairs, and projects that probably looked much easier before someone opened the box. Some were DIY disasters, while others were completed by people who were supposedly professionals.
Either way, they’re enough to make the floor look like a perfectly reasonable place to sit.
