As announced by Garena, Free Fire Max Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2025 will be held from December 5 to December 21, featuring 26 teams from Asia. The event will include the Clash Squad (CS) and Battle Royale (BR) modes. The publisher has not yet unveiled the prize pool.
The FFMAI 2025 features teams from seven Asian countries: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The Battle Royale mode contest will be played from December 5 to 14 in two phases: Play-Ins and Main Event. The Clash Squad mode contest will be held from December 18 to 21, 2025.
The Play-Ins of the BR mode will be held from December 5 to 7. Eighteen teams will participate in this initial stage for 10 spots in the Main Event. Furthermore, eight top-tier teams will be directly invited to the Main Event.

- GOW (Vietnam)
- Kagendra (Indonesia)
- Avida (Thailand)
The Play-In will include eight teams from India, five from Bangladesh, two from Nepal, and one each from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. These 18 teams have been divided into three groups for the stage. The top 10 teams from the overall standings will qualify for the Main Event.
Reckoning Esports recently performed well in the Free Fire Max India Cup 2025, finishing in second place. NG Pros also delivered impressive performances and earned third position in the tournament.
Avida from Thailand has performed impressively in their regional events but failed to win a major title. GOW from Vietnam and Kagendra from Indonesia have struggled in the last few months. They will look to bounce back in the invitational.
Nepali teams GB Esports and Rising Gods will aim to showcase their talents in the Free Fire Max Asia Invitational 2025. These teams have not played in any major tournaments.
