Aaron Hicks was once an impressively toolsy outfielder for the New York Yankees.
Now, he's got an impressive golf game.
Hicks is playing in the celebrity division at the LPGA Tournament of Champions, and he shot a 66 on Friday to lead the event by two shots at Lake Nona in Florida.
According to Beth Ann Nichols, Hicks has an average clubhead speed of 129 miles per hour and an average ball speed of 192 miles per hour.

It makes sense that a former MLB player would be able to let it rip, and Hicks has a smooth swing.
He's also married to former LPGA player Cheyenne Woods, which helps his cause.

Hicks is 36 years old now and doesn't have any more Major League Baseball in his future.
Interestingly, though, the Yankees still owe Hicks a final $1 million from a past buyout that they will pay him here in 2026.
Maybe that will help Hicks get some more golf equipment to keep this impressive play on the course going.
