Ricochet signed with AEW last year. He is one of the biggest names in the company, and fans are expecting him to win a championship in the near future. The former WWE star currently leads The Demand. This faction, apart from him, consists of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.

Ricochet was under World Wrestling Entertainment's banner from 2018 to 2024. He achieved moderate success, having won a few titles such as the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the WWE United States Championship, and more. The Lightskin Kingpin is a brilliant in-ring competitor. Fellow professional wrestlers are aware of his talent and immensely respect him.

One of his admirers is former WWE star A. J. Francis. The 35-year-old is now signed to TNA. He was known as Top Dolla in the Stamford-based company, and he featured in several matches. A few hours ago, the former TNA Digital Media Champion praised The Human Highlight Reel on X.

Francis recalled the time when the AEW star beat him on SmackDown in under three minutes.

AEW star MVP heaps praise on Ricochet

Just like Ricochet, former WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) debuted for All Elite Wrestling last year. The veteran is a massive fan of the 37-year-old.

In a recent interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, MVP said that The Lightskin Kingpin is doing the best work of his career. Furthermore, he praised his current character.

"I think he’s doing the best work of his career. He’s found his personality; he’s found his character that works well. He can still do that amazing sh*t that he does, but now he doesn’t do it unnecessarily. He does it with a purpose and a point. He doesn’t throw that sh*t away,” MVP said. [H/T: Fightful]

Only time will tell what the future holds for the former NXT North American Champion in AEW.
