After another season of falling short for the San Francisco 49ers, the team has some issues to address heading into the offseason.
One of the major factors keeping the 49ers from another deep run was a series of injuries to players such as Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, yet reaching the divisional round and winning a wild-card matchup against the defending Super Bowl champions is very impressive.
The ceiling for this team with a healthy roster has to be seen. Still, there is always room for improvement. Legendary cornerback Richard Sherman, a former Seattle Seahawks and 49er, shared his insight on what he believes the team should do to get better this offseason, and it involves arguably a top-10 wide receiver in the league.

During an episode of his "Richard Sherman podcast," the Super Bowl champion provided multiple talking points about what the 49ers need to do in free agency, and one of those points involved the team trading former Pro-Bowl quarterback, Mac Jones, to the New York Jets, who need a franchise quarterback for one of the best receivers in the game, Garrett Wilson.
Pairing a young stud receiver such as Wilson with an offense that already includes Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, and another young star in Ricky Pearsall, who has shown promise in the young portion of his career when healthy.
A big move could be what the Niners need to finally get over the hump, as they have made the Super Bowl twice in the last five seasons and held leads over the eventual champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in both games.
