Mike Tomlin is once again under fire after the Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7) couldn't move past the struggling Cleveland Browns (4-12) on Sunday. The Steelers scored six points in the second quarter and then went radio silent, while the Browns scored 10 in the first quarter and three in the fourth to close the deal.
After a couple of weeks in which they played well and took the lead in the AFC North, they could lose the division title against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18. It will be a win-or-go-home game for the Steelers against a strong opponent.
Following their six-point performance against the Browns, many fans called for Mike Tomlin's firing on social media.

I don’t know why everyone is so shocked. Tomlin already secured his .500 streak. 9-8 and out of the playoffs incoming.
The criticism didn't stop there, and some even wondered if it was better for the Steelers to lose next week if that meant that Tomlin would be gone.
"We got the classic Mike Tomlin special," one fan said. "Would you rather Steelers win next week, get to playoffs and lose first round, or Steelers lose next week and Tomlin get fired," another fan said. "Good work guys Myles didn’t get the record!!!! We played for that instead of trying to win," another fan said. The Steelers are 9-7 ahead of their Week 18 matchup. Aaron Rodgers went 21 of 39 for 168 yards. He was sacked twice and posted a 64.9 passer rating. Shedeur Sanders outplayed the four-time NFL MVP, going 17 of 23 for 186 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. He was sacked twice, too, and posted a 75.6 passer rating.
Mike Tomlin agreed with fans calling for his firing
This isn't the first time NFL fans have called for Tomlin's firing. The coach acknowledged the chants calling for his release earlier this month, agreeing with the fans' sentiment.
"In general, I agree with 'em from this perspective: Football is our game. We are in the sports entertainment business, and so if you root for the Steelers, entertaining them is winning and so when you're not winning, it's not entertaining and if you've been in this business, you understand that."The Steelers could go through major changes in 2026.
