The start of the 2025 NFL Draft is just moments away and there is still little clarity as to which direction the Denver Broncos will go in with their first-round pick.
The Broncos currently hold the No. 20 pick in the first round. There have been reports of the Broncos moving up in the first round and reports of them trading down from that 20 spot. The team could surprise everyone this year, but what do some of the experts think?
There have been thousands of mock drafts written ahead of this draft but looking at some of the final few from the big names in the industry, here is how they see things going for the Broncos.
Denver Broncos final mock draft roundup
Dan Parr, NFL.com: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Parr: "Sean Payton finds the tone-setter the Broncos have been lacking in Hampton, who can take some pressure off Bo Nix's shoulders".
R.J. White, CBS: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
White: "There's speculation the Broncos could trade up, but with Hampton -300 to go Over 19.5 at Caesars and DraftKings but -190 to go Under 20.5 at FanDuel, this is the market's landing spot for him ultimately. My play would be to take the +134 on Over 20.5 at FanDuel in the hopes Denver trades up for someone else (Matthew Golden?) or even takes Trayveon Henderson ahead of Hampton."

Ryan Wilson, CBS: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
Wilson: "This is the first time ever I've had Henderson in a first-round mock draft, but the Broncos were interested in Ashton Jeanty enough to consider trading up for him, and they could end up deciding between Henderson and Omarion Hampton here."
Pro Football Network: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
PFN: "The Denver Broncos exceeded expectations in 2024, making the playoffs behind rookie quarterback Bo Nix. To help him keep improving, they should continue adding to his supporting cast.
Omarion Hampton is a speedy, physical back who excels at finding open lanes between the tackles. He’d complement Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estimé well in Denver’s backfield."
Pete Prisco, CBS: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Prisco: "They can get their back later, so taking a receiver to help the passing game makes sense. Teams love Egbuka in terms of his pro-ready demeanor."
Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Network: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan (Projected trade with Miami Dolphins)
Jeremiah: "I believe Loveland is highly coveted by a bunch of teams, and it seems like the Dolphins would like to add more draft capital. Sean Payton has never been shy about being aggressive -- the Saints traded up in the first round four times during his tenure as head coach. If he wants something, he usually goes and gets it. The signing of Evan Engramwould not preclude Denver from making an aggressive move for Loveland."
Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
"The Broncos have Courtland Sutton and now tight end Evan Engram, but they need a technically-sound route runner to be a reliable go-to guy in Bo Nix's second season."
