Fergie's Rare Appearance With Ludacris at Atlanta Concert Is So Delicious

Fergie had a feeling that Black Eyed Peas fans deserved a reunion—and she was right.

The former bandmates—including Taboo, 50, will.i.am, 50, and APL.DE.AP, 51, in addition to the “Fergalicious” singer—got together 8 years after her infamous exit to celebrate their “milestone” birthdays in a trio of truly stylish snaps.

“Finally got to break bread and celebrate our milestone birthdays together,” Fergie, also 50, captioned the photos posted to Instagram Dec. 13 alongside both pea and red heart emojis. “What a special night with my brothers, filled with so much love.”

In the photos, Fergie—real name Stacy Ann Ferguson—posed alongside her fellow musicians in boot-cut jeans, a black crop top, and a red leather jacket. But she wasn’t the only one bringing that Boom Boom Pow in the style department.

Will.i.am (born William James Adams Jr.) opted for oversized orange pants and a quilted green jacket, while Taboo (born Jaime Luis Gomez) and APL.DE.AP (born Allan Pineda Lindo) were donned in similar black ensembles.

And this isn’t the only reunion that the “London Bridge” singer—who exited the band in June 2017—has been a part of as of late. Indeed, Fergie was a surprise guest in Ludacris’ set at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on Oct. 26. During the show, Fergie joined the rapper to sing their 2006 hit “Glamorous.”

Following their epic performance, the “My Chick Bad” rapper gave Fergie—who shares son Axl, 12, with ex Josh Duhamel—her props, telling the audience that she hasn’t “performed in seven damn years.”

“We Got FERGIE OUT THE F---IN HOUSE!” Ludacris (born Christian Brian Bridges) wrote on his Oct. 27 Instagram post, which sees him and Fergie performing the iconic duet. “ATLANTA WENT CRAZY! Love to my Sis.”

And true to her and Ludacris’ decades-long friendship, she expressed her gratitude for being welcomed back to the stage.

“Loved being able to honor you,” she wrote in the post’s comments section before celebrating an incredible milestone in her fellow musician’s career. “Cheers to 25 years.”

Fergie may have dominated the charts in the early 2000s, but now she’s dominating mom duties.

“She’s focusing on being a mom,” will.I.am told Billboard in 2020, three years after her exit from the Black Eyed Peas. “That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her. It’s really the way Fergie designed it, so we’re respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don’t want anything but awesomeness for her.”
