The Green Bay Packers will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17, and running back Josh Jacobs, wide receiver Christian Watson, quarterback Malik Willis, and wide receiver Romeo Doubs will be in the lineup for the Packers.
Watson has been battling an illness, and though he's questionable, he should be ready to go by kickoff. On the other hand, quarterback Jordan Love is out for Saturday's contest against Baltimore, meaning Willis will get the start, though he is also still tabbed as questionable.
Jacobs and Doubs are both dealing with injuries as well, but have no designations and are set to play in Week 17. That said, are any of these Packers playmakers worth starting in your lineup this week? Let's take a closer look.
Josh Jacobs start or sit advice
Jacobs is having another productive season for the Packers, rushing for 926 yards and 13 touchdowns, along with 282 yards and a score through the air.
Through 16 weeks this year, Jacobs is RB6, but he hasn't been as effective lately, ranking as the RB17 since Week 13.
However, we do have to take into account that Jacobs has been dealing with a lingering knee injury and has been a pitch counter over the last few weeks. His productivity should skyrocket this week if he receives his usual amount of touches.
That said, Jacobs should be a start in your lineup weekly, no matter the circumstances.
Verdict: Start
Christian Watson start or sit advice
Watson should be good to go for Saturday, and he has a favorable matchup on his hands.
Baltimore is allowing the ninth most points per game to wide receivers this year, and though Watson has struggled over the past two games, he ranks as the WR25 since his season debut in Week 8.
Before his rougb two game stretch, Watson was on a heater. The young receiver came in as the WR4 from Week 11 to Week 14, and scored touchdowns in three of those four games, including two contests with a pair of scores.
If Watson is healthy, he should be a high-upside start in your lineup this week, even with Love out and Willis at quarterback.
Verdict: Start
Malik Willis start or sit advice
Willis hasn't played much this year, but he does present some fantasy upside due to his dual-threat abilities as a rusher and passer.
In 2024, Willis started two games in Weeks 2 and 3. In those outings, he was the QB9 and showcased why he could be a solid starting option if needed.
Starting Willis does come with a risk, but if you don't have a high-level option already, he should be in your lineup.
Verdict: Start
Romeo Doubs start or sit advice
Like Watson, Doubs has a favorable matchup with the Ravens and is coming off an 84-yard performance with a touchdown versus the Chicago Bears in Week 16.
Doubs is the WR32 this season, and though he put together a nice outing last week, Watson being back healthy diminishes his value.
Though Willis does like to target Doubs, Watson has the higher upside in Week 17. Doubs isn't a must-sit, but he also shouldn't be in your lineup unless you have a wide receiver crisis.
Verdict: Sit
