He wasn’t man enough for her?
Fans are convinced Kayla Nicole’s “savage” Toni Braxton costume this year is a dig at ex Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
The model, 33, revealed via Instagram on Friday that she dressed as Braxton for the holiday as she recreated the R&B singer’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video.
“She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000,” Nicole captioned the clip.
She followed up the clip with a post sharing several snaps taken by photographers Shaun-Andru and Moses Alexander from her Halloween photoshoot.
Several of Nicole’s followers cheered on her costume look from the comments section as they celebrated her apparent shade toward Kelce and Swift.
“This is how you have the last laugh,” one of the followers wrote under the video.
“This was a very SAVAGE move,” said another netizen. Meanwhile, a third person wrote; “No one is mad at it hahaha.”
A fan added, “Somebody gon check on TayTay?”

Nicole’s move comes shortly after Swift, 35, seemingly shaded the influencer in the pop star’s track “Opalite,” which is said to be about her fiancé and is featured on her “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
Swift appears to reference Nicole in her lyric that reads, “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
The line implies that the “Pre-Game with Kayla Nicole” podcast host was with Kelce, 36, for clout.
This wouldn’t be the first time the fitness influence has used the spooky holiday to throw a petty jab at another star.
In her October 2024 appearance on Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Nicole previously alluded to dressing up as Teyana Taylor for Halloween after former New York Knicks player Iman Shumpert allegedly dumped her via text.
In her interview, Nicole only refers to the famous figure as a “singer/actress who was famous at the time.” Though, it didn’t take long for the internet to dig up pictures of Nicole dressed as Taylor from Kanye West’s 2016 “Fade” music video.
At the time, Taylor, 34, issued a scathing response to Nicole via social media despite being “happily” divorced from the former NBA player.
“F–k the iman part, l’m divorced and happily so, however her choice of words were very distasteful and uncalled for,” the “One Battle After Another” actress said in a since-deleted comment on the Shade Room’s post about the interview.
“She knew exactly what she was doing. That lady said ‘she was famous at the time’ [and] also said ‘idc who see it’ [and] it was very distasteful & uncalled for,” Taylor continued. “Most importantly she knew people would dig.”
