The Nets will face the Timberwolves Monday night at Barclays Center on the second night of a back-to-back. The Nets played Sunday against the uptempo 76ers and will have to compete with tired legs against a physical Wolves team.
The Wolves last played Saturday in Charlotte and will complete their three-game road trip Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks.

What our Post expert thinks about Nets vs. Wolves
To say the Nets are off to a slow start would be an understatement. They drew one of the toughest schedules to start the season and have the worst Defensive Rating (129.1) in the NBA by a comfortable margin.
There is a silver lining for the Nets in this game to some degree. All-Star Anthony Edwards won’t play as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. The Nets still have to account for Julius Randle, though, who has put up back-to-back 30-point performances in his last two games.
