The Atlanta Falcons signed one of the top undrafted free agents late Saturday, a guy who probably should've been drafted.
They reached an agreement with San Jose State wide receiver Nick Nash.
Nash started his college career as a quarterback, so his development as a WR still likely has a lot of room to go.
Even with that, Nash had a monster final season for SJSU.
He caught 104 passes for 1,382 yards and 16 TDs in 2024 for the Spartans.
He had a legitimate case as the most impressive receiver in college football, not considering competition.

He's also 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, so size isn't a concern, either.
Maybe he's not the fastest, but he clearly can get open and catch the football.
It's so low-risk for the Falcons to bring Nash in as an UDFA. There's serious reward potential here, though.
Atlanta should be doing everything it can to surround Michael Penix Jr. with talent. Nash is a perfect example of a shot that's worth taking.
If he sticks as even a bit of the player he was in college, they'll have gotten a steal for Penix and the rest of the offense in Atlanta.
