Explosion reportedly rocks Iran’s Bandar Abbas port

An explosion rocked Iran Saturday, although the cause of the blast has not been announced, state media reported.

Iranian news agency Tasnim reported the blast occurred at the southern port of Bandar Abbas in the Persian Gulf.

That port is the location of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy headquarters.

The explosion is currently under investigation.
