Former professional golfer Paige Spiranac took to social media to lament missing what turned out to be a historic Run for the Roses.
In her steamy throwback post, the stunning athlete and influencer risks an eye-popping floral sundress that offered little support, holding a fan and flaunting a beautiful hat per horse racing tradition.
“Love the Kentucky Derby,” she captioned her Saturday, May 2 share to X (formerly Twitter). “Missing this year but hope to go back.”
“Never looked better!” gushed one fan.” Giant hat and a sundress on first Saturday in may is the greatest look.”
Another, filled Spiranac in on the outcome: “Very competitive race this year…Congratulations to Golden Tempo and Cherie DeVaux. First female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby!”
DeVaux’s big win — with Jose Ortiz aboard Golden Tempo — was the second female trainer to win a Triple Crown race, after Jena Antonucci won the 2023 Belmont Stakes with Arcangelo. DeVaux hails from Saratoga Springs, the Upstate New York town where the Belmont is being held for the third time this year while Belmont Park finishes up its renovations. If Golden Tempo wins the Preakness (the second leg of the Triple Crown), DeVaux would be going for horse racing’s biggest honor in front of a hometown crowd at Saratoga’s “The Spa” race course on June 6.

“Come to the Travers,” commented one of Spiranac’s fans, mentioning Saratoga’s biggest race of its normal season. “Saratoga is a fun town and a historic track.”
“If there was a photo finish I think you would win,” quipped another fan.
“Gorgeous!” gushed another. “A beautiful southern bell.”
Spiranac, 33, went pro for about one year in 2015. She has since racked up more than 4 million followers on Instagram alone as a golf-focused, sexy content creator.
