Former offensive tackle Matt Kalil and ex-wife Haley Kalil called it quits in 2022. Three years later, Haley shared insight into the reason the former couple divorced while appearing on the live stream "Twitch with Marlon."

Haley alluded to the fact that she couldn't officially say what the downfall of their marriage was but, suggested it was intimacy issues. Shocking the Twitch host with her admission.

“We were trying to do the damn thing and putting in work. Deada**… for our whole marriage, deada**. But I was going to try it all. We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying… Looked up lipo-type s–t… That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself," Haley told Marlon.

She then continued, “That was the biggest factor… Love him, but he’s my homie… No, because he’s like .01 percent of the population. We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears type s–t. That’s why I can’t put it on the internet… We tried it all.”

The Sports Illustrated model went on to say that although they cited "irreconcilable differences" for their divorce, she still considers her ex-husband a friend and that she doesn't hold any ill will. The former couple married in July 2015 and filed for divorce in January 2022.

Matt Kalil married Keilani Asmus in April 2024 in Las Vegas

Two years after his divorce, former first-round draft pick Matt Kalil married model Keilani Asmus. In April 2024, Asmus shared a few snapshots in a post on Instagram, announcing their nuptials.

The couple married at the well-known Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. Asmus wore a short white dress with a white bow in her hair. The former offensive tackle wore black pants and a black blazer for their ceremony.

"We did the da** thing!" Keilani Asmus captioned the post.

The former USC offensive tackle was drafted with the fourth-overall draft pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He spent four seasons with the Vikings before he became a free agent.

In March 2017, Matt Kalil signed a five-year deal worth $55 million with the Carolina Panthers. In March 2019 he was released by the Panthers after he dealt with a knee injury. He then signed with the Houston Texans a month later but didn't make the final roster cut after training camp.
