Scandal-scarred ex-University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore was officially charged with home invasion, stalking and related counts Friday — two days after he was taken into custody amid his unceremonious dismissal from the storied program.

The 39-year-old married father of three was charged with third-degree home invasion, a felony, as well as stalking and breaking and entering, which are both misdemeanors, according to a criminal complaint.

Moore could face five years in prison if convicted of the top home invasion count.

He was expected to appear in court for his arraignment on Friday afternoon.

Dispatch audio obtained by The Post and other outlets indicates Moore allegedly went to his executive assistant Paige Shiver’s home armed with a knife.

A female caller at that location claimed Moore is “attacking her” and also reported “he’s been stalking her for months, according to a dispatcher.

He also threatened to harm himself before fleeing the scene on foot, the caller said, according to the dispatcher.

It’s unclear if the caller was Shiver.

Moore’s wife, Kelli, also reported that her husband was “suicidal … for losing his job today,” according to dispatch audio obtained by the Detroit News.

He was soon taken into custody by authorities.

Moore’s professional and personal life became undone when he was publicly fired as head of the Michigan Wednesday over an “inappropriate relationship” with a staffer, who has not been publicly identified.

He had been leading the team for about two years, and still had the Citrus Bowl against the University of Texas ahead of him on New Year’s Eve.
