The Euphoria Season 3 premiere is less than two weeks away, and HBO is giving fans a closer look at what’s to come.

While the Season 3 logline vaguely teases “a group of childhood friends wrestl[ing] with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil,” a new trailer for the next installment of Sam Levinson‘s hit drama provides more insight into what everyone has been up to since high school, starting with Rue (Zendaya), who we see being interrogated by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents.

The trailer also allows viewers to catch up with Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi), who tie the knot, and the surprising source of assistance Cassie has sought out to help her make OnlyFans-style content: Maddy (Alexa Demie), Nate’s ex-girlfriend and Cassie’s former best friend.

Maddy tells Rue that she has “a meeting” with Cassie, signaling that the meeting is with her by pretending to push up her boobs and cry.

Rue replies, “Cassie? Round two, baby!”

Cassie tells Nate, “I’m gonna tell you something that might make you angry. Maddy’s been helping me.”

Nate asks, “My Maddy?”

Cassie replies, “She was my best friend.”

However, Nate’s uncertain as to whether Maddy’s intentions are genuine, as he asks Cassie what she thinks Maddy “wants” from helping her. Viewers catch a glimpse of Maddy snapping pictures of Cassie as she poses poolside on a lounge chair, with someone using a leaf blower to blow her hair back.

“Poke the ass up!” Maddy exclaims.

Others fans are reunited with in the trailer are Cassie’s sister,Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow), Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer), Ali (Colman Domingo), Nate’s father, Cal Jacobs (the late Eric Dane), and Rue’s mother, Leslie Bennett (Nika King). Plus, we see a brief shot of Marshawn Lynch, who is one of the series’ many newcomers.

Euphoria Season 3 premieres on Sunday, April 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with streaming available on HBO Max. Watch the new trailer above.
