ESPN NFL insider expects Dolphins to trade multiple stars before deadline

The Miami Dolphins season is on the brink of utter collapse, if it isn't there already. After being blown out 31-6 by the Cleveland Browns, many are awaiting Miami to make several trades of top players in order to begin a rebuild.

Several players have been named as potential trade candidates, but it is unlikely Miami will just up and trade all of their good players. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler shares which players he believes will be on the move.

"I'll say two: a pass rusher and one other," Fowler writes. "The Dolphins have Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb to deal, with Phillips having the most trade value of Miami's edge rushers. Several personnel departments have been enamored with his trajectory, which was derailed by injury. Miami doesn't appear ready to give the 2026 free agent an extension. It could be similar to Washington trading Chase Young and Montez Sweat at the deadline two years ago."

Should the Dolphins make these two moves, they should bring in some solid mid-draft compensation to use on potential building blocks for the future. They face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Atlanta, where they could fall to 1-7.
