England face Senegal at Nottingham Forest's City Ground on Tuesday in an international friendly.
The Three Lions were booed off by some of the travelling fans in Barcelona over the weekend as they laboured to a 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra.
Tuchel was unhappy with the intensity on display, particularly during the closing stages, and said to reporters ahead of Tuesday's friendly game, "What I have told you I have already told the team directly. There are no messages that I give via a press conference. Everything I say here, I already said to the players. Why should we sugarcoat it? You have been in the stadium, why should I tell you that we had a good game and we are happy with what we did if we are not happy? No harm done. We can handle criticism."
The German coach is likely to make several changes to his starting lineup given his players have just finished a long club season and some have the Club World Cup coming up.
Senegal, who drew 1-1 with the Republic of Ireland in a friendly last Friday, may also use the match as an opportunity to try out a different set-up. That said, Pape Thiaw and his players will also know this is a chance for a famous victory on English soil.

England vs. Senegal predicted starting lineups, team news
Tuchel is expected to make a number of changes to the lineup for this friendly, although he did indicate on Monday that Harry Kane would captain the side as usual.
Bukayo Saka appeared alongside the coach for pre-match media duties and is therefore likely to start. Dean Henderson could get the nod in goal, and there could be a full debut for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
Morgan Gibbs-White, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Anthony Gordon, Eberechi Eze and Trent Alexander-Arnold are among the others who may come into the first XI.
England predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Henderson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Chalobah, Colwill, Lewis-Skelly — Rice, Gibbs-White — Saka, Eze, Gordon — Kane.

Forwards: Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Ollie Watkins, Eberechi Eze, Anthony Gordon, Ivan Toney, Noni Madueke.
Tottenham's Pape Matar Sarr left the Senegal camp before last Friday's draw with the Republic of Ireland due to muscle problems, so he misses out.
Thiaw will likely rotate his starting lineup to give others a chance to impress. Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr and Monaco's prized midfielder Lamine Camara were substitutes last time out, so they could come in.
Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson could also get the nod after sitting out last week's draw.
Senegal predicted lineup (4-1-4-1, right to left): E. Mendy (GK) — A. Mendy, 3. Koulibaly, Diallo, Jakobs — P. Gueye — Sarr, Camara, Diatta, Ndiaye — Jackson.

England vs. Senegal score prediction
Tuchel may have challenged his players to show a little more commitment, but this is a friendly match at the end of a gruelling season and just days before some from both squads head to the United States for the Club World Cup. It's unlikely to be a free-scoring, event-packed encounter.
Predicted score: 1-0
