Emmys 2025 MUST SEE MOMENTS: Cast Reunions, Onstage Surprises & All the Memes
Jason Segel and Kayla Radomski aren’t shrinking their tastes when it comes to wedding planning.
Just three months after the couple got engaged, the Shrinking star and his fiancée attended the 2025 Emmys at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, where they shared an update on wedding planning. (See more stars on the Emmys red carpet here.)
“It’s getting there,” Jason told Zuri Hall during an exclusive interview at the Live From E!: 2025 Emmys red carpet, while Kayla added, “It’s so exciting.”
Indeed, the pair noted that it’s been seamless to come up with ideas for their big day together.
“It’s really easy,” Kayla explained. “We both agree on things. It’s so fun!”
And the Emmy nominee—who was ultimately bested by Seth Rogen in his category Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, which also included Adam Brody, Martin Short and Jeremy Allen White—chimed in, emphasizing, “It’s dreamy.”
Another dreamy moment for Jason? His Isaia maroon and black suit, which he admitted he’d been planning for the entire year after sporting a more toned-down classic tuxedo to the Emmys in 2024.
“I had said last year that I’m ready, finally, to have a sassy tux,” he joked. “This is the sassy tux.”
Naturally, the So You Think You Can Dance alum—who sported a deep-V cut black ballgown—was on board with the bold style moment from her fiancé, adding, “Peak sassy, I mean, come on.”
While fresh off their engagement, Jason and Kayla weren’t the only couple to make a date night out of the Emmys 2025. After all, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco made their official red carpet debut as a couple ahead of the ceremony, while Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost—who tied the knot in 2020—enjoyed their own moment together.

Meanwhile, Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph also brought along her husband Vincent Hughes as her plus one, and shared why their romance continues to be so strong after over 20 years of marriage.
“Communication,” she shared on the Live From E! broadcast.“I tell everybody, try not to go to sleep with anger on your heart, to try to talk it out with each other because nine times out of ten, you’re both worth it.”
