Emily Ratajkowski Claps Back After Catching a Stranger Commenting on Her Body

Emily Ratajkowski is leaving very little to the imagination.

In a revealing July 25 Instagram dump, amid pictures of good eats and hangs with friends, the model snuck in a photo of herself sunbathing fully nude.

In the snap, Emily is reclined on a chaise lounge, her knees pulled up and her arms—holding her phone in her hand—are strategically placed over her chest. She looks toward the camera in nothing but a red baseball cap, a pink bag sporting a butterfly by her side.

Elsewhere in the carousel were images of Emily soaking up the sun in Italy, including an external shot of a trattoria, a sparkling turquoise pool, a video of an olive tree grove and a snap of the 34-year-old leaning up against a red Alfa Romeo Spider.

Also enjoying all Italy has to offer was Emily’s son Sylvester Apollo Bear whom she shares with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. The 4-year-old could be seen by his mother’s side alongside an olive tree, dancing to a busker’s music as the pair dined outside and with his mom in the airport, sticking his tongue out after a successful vacation.

Emily aptly titled the photo dump with the Italian word for July, “Lulgio.”

The iCarly alum’s nude photo shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. After all, over the years Emily has proudly advocated against the emphasis placed on women’s bodies, especially for those living their lives in the public eye.

"So much of women's value—whether you're an actress or an athlete, or even work in a field where your body isn't necessarily supposed to be a part of your job," she told Marie Claire in 2022, "your body and your image around your body is still a huge part of who you are, and how the world values women."

She continued, “You can be any age, any profession, and you're thinking about your body image. I think that's how we consume media as well. As a culture, we're looking at bodies, and we're judging them. And that's part of the intrigue of social media."

So when the Gone Girl actress was walking through the streets of New York in August—clad in a gray tank top, black yoga pants and sneakers—and experienced someone yelling at her to “put a shirt on,” she had the perfect response—none at all.

As seen in a video she shared to TikTok at the time, Emily continues her walk completely unphased, adding Charli XCX’s “365” over the moment.

“Who the f--k are you?" the lyrics note. "I'm a brat when I'm bumpin' that. Now I wanna hear my track, are you bumpin' that?”
