New York Giants legend Eli Manning has had a long-standing friendly rivalry with NFL icon Tom Brady. While Brady is widely regarded as one of the greatest NFL players of all time, Colts quarterback Daniel Jones snubbed him for the Giants legend.

In a "stop when you see a better player than Eli Manning" video posted by Fanatics on X, Jones backed Eli over several legendary names, including his Hall of Famer brother, Peyton.

Brady was the last name in the video, but Jones stuck with the two-time Super Bowl MVP, saying:

The former Colts MVP reacted to the video with a hilarious message:

"This guy is smart…he went to Duke."

While Brady faced several notable NFL players during his illustrious career, Eli was his toughest adversary, beating the New England Patriots legend in the Super Bowl twice.

Jones, who signed a one-year deal with the Colts earlier this year, played three seasons for Duke after redshirting his first season in 2015.

Eli Manning praised Damiel Jones' ethics after new lease of life with Colts

Eli Manning played his entire NFL career with the Giants and the franchise hoped to have found an able replacement in Daniel Jones after his strong rookie year with them.

However, Jones failed to deliver on his early promise and was released by the Giants in November last year. The 28-year-old quarterback has found a new lease of life after joining the Colts, helping the team to a 7-2 record in his nine starts.

Manning shared his excitement on Jones starting afresh in Indianapolis, praising the quarterback for his willingness to learn and improve his game.

“Just excited for Daniel,” Manning said. “No one deserves it more, has worked harder and he did it from day one. ... He was with me in that quarterback room every single day, every single time. "It was fun because he was a sponge. He wanted to learn. He asked questions. You saw the commitment. He wanted to do the right things all the time. Very coachable.”

The Colts lead the AFC South and have established themselves as strong postseason contenders with Jones leading the offense. They will host the Atlanta Falcons in their Week 10 clash on Sunday.
