Olympic skier Eileen Gu is one of the highest-paid athletes going into the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Before she even hit the slopes for Team China in Milan, the American-born freestyle skier, 22, already had a decently padded bank account.
But not all of Gu's wealth has come from her decorated career in skiing. In fact, a large chunk of it didn't.
Here is Gu's net worth and how much she's made in career earnings and endorsements.
What is Eileen Gu's net worth
As of February 2026, Gu is worth an estimated $50 million, with more than $20 million per year from her endorsement portfolio alone, according to "Celebrity Net Worth."
Her career earnings from skiing typically average under $200,000 per year.
Gu was one of the most marketed and controversial athletes going into the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
The Americans were upset that she was repping The People’s Republic of China despite her upbringing in San Francisco. Gu was born the daughter of Yan Gu, a first-generation Chinese immigrant of the United States, and an American father.
At the time, Team China certainly benefitted from Gu switching sides, as she wound up being one of the best stars at the games, winning a silver medal in Slopestyle, a gold medal in Halfpipe, and another gold in Big Air.

Eileen Gu has made an impressive list of endorsements
Despite only being 22, Gu is already one of the richest athletes competing in the Milan games this year, and her growing list of endorsements surely haven't hurt.
She's had an impressive career in the beauty industry, earning endorsement deals with upwards of 30 brands.
These deals have generated Gu around $20 million per year.
As of today, some of her biggest endorsements have come from Victoria's Secret, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. Louis Vuitton, and Fendi.
