In a fight which harkens back to the gimmick fights of the PRIDE days, two World's Strongest Man winners faced off in a mixed martial arts battle in Poland today.
Since 2009, Polish promotion KSW has been the combat sports home of the record holder for most wins in World's Strongest Man competition history, five-time champion Mariusz Pudianowski.
— COMBAT SPORTS TODAY (@CSTodayNews) May 30, 2023'Pudz' has assembled a respectable 17-10 record as a professional MMA fighter after his illustrious strongman career, but at 48 years old found Eddie Hall far too much to handle.
Hall (37), the 2017 World's Strongest Man, hurt Pudzianowksi with a punch early on, and the Pole never recovered as he was literally thrown around the cage by the Brit before the referee finally stepped in at the thirty second mark of the opening round.

Eddie Hall first competed in combat sports back in 2022, losing a decision in a boxing exhibition to Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, yet another of the exclusive World's Strongest Man club.
Hall also recently competed in a two-versus-one mixed martial arts exhibition bout in the World Freak Fight League, where he knocked out two brothers in one round.
